Lean Academy
The Lean Academy is one of the most important corner stones of our manufacturing organisation. Starting almost 15 years ago to professionalize our training program, it now has become a well established Academy for all employees.
In recent years we have also opened up our factory doors and Lean training programs to external relations. This is in line with our corporate philosophy of Kyosei. Kyosei means that we see all people, regardless of culture, customs, language or race, harmoniously living and working together in happiness into the future. We believe we must foster good relations with customers, communities, as well as with governments, regions and the environment as part of our fulfilment of social responsibilities
In line with this philosophy we share our experience and knowledge with other companies. We believe by sharing our knowledge about Lean, we can support optimizing processes world-wide, contributing to the environment and well-being of people. We also believe working together will lead to a mutual benefit. Our experts grow by teaching others and applying their knowledge to a broader variety of processes and we appreciate ‘fresh eyes’ in our factory who can challenge us to go beyond the level of today.

Quick & Easy kaizen
Everyone is able to improve processes
We developed the Quick & Easy Kaizen method for over more than a decade, starting on the direct processes on the factory floor. Over the years we improved our method and extended the scope towards the office. It’s a way of thinking and working that became part of our daily work and culture. Both our operators as our colleagues in the office work according to this method. The philosophy behind it is ‘learning to see’.
We train our colleagues in a way so they can recognize waste in their daily work. By using the Quick & Easy Kaizen method they can describe and initiate their observations, ask attention for it and minimize or remove it themselves, with approval of their own team. It’s easy accessible for everyone, no management involved. We strongly believe everyone is able to improve processes in their daily work and everybody has the freedom and time to do so.
