Canon Production Printing announces Akira Yoshida as new President and CEO
Venlo, the Netherlands – 30 January 2024 – Canon Production Printing today announced Akira Yoshida has been appointed President and CEO of Canon Production Printing. He replaces Taz Nakamasu, who will be retiring on 31 March 2024 and returning to Japan after more than four decades working for Canon in various senior leadership roles.
Mr. Yoshida has held various international management positions within Canon across Oceania, Canada, and the United States. Most recently, Mr. Yoshida served in a senior role within the Digital Printing Group at Canon‘s headquarters in Japan.
Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Yoshida said, “I am very excited for the opportunity to lead Canon Production Printing. I look forward to working with the team and continuing on Canon Production Printing’s path to profitable growth.”
Mr. Yoshida will take on this new role based in Venlo, The Netherlands, on 1 April this year.
