DirectPress

DirectPress is a unique imaging technology. Toner images are made directly on an imaging drum, transferred to a rubber belt that presses the image onto a sheet of paper. This eliminates the potential effects of light, static charge, temperature, humidity, developer or toner mixtures, which can lead to degradation of quality over time. DirectPress produces extremely consistent matte offset-like quality prints. Lower fusing temperatures are paper-friendly and result into flat output. It eliminates several steps of the process of electrophotography, resulting into less parts, increased reliability and system uptime and less steps to produce prints. Besides, DirectPress produces virtually no ozone or waste toner and is energy friendly.
