Océ in Dutch R&D Top 10
In May 2018, the Dutch magazine Technisch Weekblad published their yearly R&D Top 30 for companies in the Netherlands. The top R&D investor in the Netherlands is ASML. Philips takes the second place. The list is rounded off with Océ at number 10

“Océ – A Canon Company – has a long history of innovation. More than 140 years,” says Hans Geelen, Director of Océ R&D. “Today we are an innovation center for Canon, and together with Canon we invest heavily in the development of new high-speed digital printing systems for customers around the world.”
Canon identifies commercial printing as one of the strategic growth areas for the company, and acquired Océ in 2010 to address opportunities in the commercial printing market.
