Dutch prime minister Mark Rutte, while on a trade mission to India, offered an Océ reproduction of the famous Dutch painting Girl with a Pearl Earring by Johannes Vermeer to his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.

The Mauritshuis museum in The Hague has asked Océ, a Canon company, to print a copy of ‘The Girl with the pearl earring’ for visitors who still want to admire Vermeer’s masterpiece while the original is being vetted.
